meet the creators
Rob Rokicki
Rob Rokicki is a New York-based artist. He wrote the music, lyrics & co-orchestrated the Broadway show, THE LIGHTNING THIEF: THE PERCY JACKSON MUSICAL (book by Joe Tracz). The piece was nominated for Lortel, Off-Broadway Alliance, & three Drama Desk Awards, including Outstanding Musical, before touring North America.
In addition to MONSTERSONGS, which was an official selection of the National Alliance of Musical Theatre, Rob wrote the award-winning shows LOVE, NY and STRANGE TAILS (with Michael Ruby). His immersive musical, EXPERIENCE MARIANAS (with Sarah Beth Pfeifer), was a semi-finalist for the O’Neill Conference. He co-arranged & orchestrated PUNK ROCK GIRL (book by Joe Iconis) & was a writer on BREATHE (book by Timothy McDonald & best-selling novelist, Jodi Picoult). Rob’s been commissioned to write for The Kennedy Center, Bay Area Children’s Theater & the film THE REAL GEMMA JORDAN (script by Anna K. Jacobs). Other credits: ELEVEN ELEVEN, & the horror/comedy radio play, THE LISTING. Rob is a two-time Larson Award finalist, alum of the BMI writing workshop & graduate of the University of Michigan. David O’Neill
Dave O'Neill is an award-winning children's book Illustrator and Art Director in NYC. As the O'Neill in Shankman and O'Neill Children's Books, Dave has nine titles in the library including the best-selling "I Met a Moose in Maine One Day", "Leo the Lazy Lizard" and "Where's the Bathroom?".
Currently, he is working on a webcomic entitled "The Canon Continuum—The Supranormal Time-Hopping Hiatus of Callum Canon". His work has taken him to toy design, marketing, illustration, and most recently, set design at The Growing Stage—The Children's Theatre of NJ. Sammy Caiola
MAD SCIENTIST MOTHER, THE TEENAGE ZOMBIE, THE DRAGON
Sammy Caiola is excited to make her Forgotten Lore debut. She’s co-founder and co-president of the Love City Cabaret, a musical theatre ensemble performing quarterly fundraisers for local nonprofits. Choreography credits include "Fellowship!" (Sidequest Theatre), "After the Assault" (Cannonball, Kun Yang Lin, Philadelphia Fringe), "Things To Do When You're Alone/ Moon River" (dance + poetry collaborations with Warren C. Longmire), and burlesque acts for Studio 45, Philadelphia Fringe, and Urban Movement Arts. Sammy is a member of “The Improvised Tony Awards” improv musical ensemble, and The Trestle Inn's “Trestle Specials”, where she performs under the go-go alias Jeannie Jones.

Nathan Kendrick
Nathan M. Kendrick (He/They) is a Chester County-based musician and actor who holds a BM in Music Performance (Voice) from Susquehanna University. Kendrick splits their time between the stage and keyboard, appearing and music directing at various theaters around Chester, Montgomery, Delaware and Philadelphia counties. Favorite acting credits include Assassins (Czolgosz), The Rocky Horror Show (Frank-n-Furter), 110 in the Shade (Starbuck), Peter and the Starcatcher (Black Stache), and Head Over Heels (Pythio). Music directing credits include Rent, Urinetown, and Be More Chill. Kendrick serves as Organist and Director of Music for Paoli UMC and as a collaborative pianist for various groups and performers. He would like to thank his mother Sharon, his friend Carlos, and his three cats.

Tyrone Lackey
Tyrone Lackey is a Philadelphia-based performer and tenor with an MFA in Theatre and Vocal Performance from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Previous credits include Bobby Dupree in Memphis, Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors, Mitch Mahoney in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Schroeder in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. He is excited to be part of this production and thanks his family, friends, and fellow artists for their continued support.

Alex Margies
Alex Margies is excited to return to Lone Brick and Forgotten Lore Theatre! He has previously appeared as The Emperor in Forgotten Lore’s Strange Aeons. He has performed in several shows with Ridley Drama Group, including Matilda, The Play That Goes Wrong, A Christmas Carol, and Anastasia. Most recently, he music directed Ridley Performing Arts Program’s Tick Tick Boom! Thank you to the directors for the opportunity and to my family for your constant support!

Cid Miller
Cid is excited and grateful to be making his Forgotten Lore debut with Monstersongs! His past acting credits are almost entirely from high school theater (shout out Lower Merion Players) where he performed Turn Back, O Man in Godspell, and played Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast, and Dallas Winston in The Outsiders (plus directing The Play That Goes Wrong), and he has done various shows in college on the hair and makeup run crew.
He would like to thank his lovely hair and makeup crew for their help and their patience on this production, and Tabbie for getting him involved!

THE TEENAGE VAMPIRE, THE GHOST, THE WITCH
Kim Rouse has been passionate about music for her entire life and is excited to be debuting with the Forgotten Lore Theatre Company. This is her first theatre production since taking a hiatus in 2016. She is looking forward to being back on stage as The Teenage Vampire, The Ghost, and The Witch in Monstersongs.
Outside of the theatre, she is also a proud member and musical director of the charity cabaret group Love City Cabaret and sings in her church’s choir every Sunday.
Tabbie Wismer
Tabbie is thrilled to be making her debut with Forgotten Lore in Monstersongs! Most recently, she could be spotted in many, many children's shows (such as playing the Bus Driver in Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!), and though she does believe that children are the best audience because they're honest, she's relieved to be involved with an adult production, which will be comparatively much less pressure. Though she has many passions, singing will always be number one, and she thanks Robert and Bea for taking a chance on a newcomer!

Beatrice Quinn (she/they/it) is a musical theater director, writer, and composer from Minnesota. Since 2024 she has performed and directed productions at SideQuest Theater, Shakespeare in Clark Park, and now with their second production in Philadelphia Fringe. Quinn is also a private music instructor currently accepting and teaching students of all ages in piano, voice, and songwriting.

Founded in 2015 by Artistic Director, R.A. Reutter Forgotten Lore Theatre is a Philadelphia area artists’ collaborative that specializes in immersive theatre. The name of the company is derived from our commitment to storytelling, especially those stories that may have fallen out of the popular consciousness or can be told in new ways.
Through innovative and experimental performances, Forgotten Lore Theatre endeavors to create unique theatrical experiences for each audience member in an effort to keep the communal art of storytelling alive.

Lone Brick Theatre Company is one of Widener University’s resident theatre companies along with FreshBaked Theatre. Founded in 2013 and operating out of Widener’s Chester, PA campus, LBT offers opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to perform, direct, write, and design for the ever-evolving stage. Company members often have the chance to work with industry professionals and to put learning into practice through the collaborative and complex nature of the theatrical arts.
